I agree with you. It shouldn't be called that anymore.
They barely have t.v. shows that have anything to do with music.
I don't watch it anymore.

OMG! I completely agree! There extremely isn't any music being performed on MTV, and it would not help that i can not stand actuality television yet MTV extremely does it over the applicable with a number of its exhibits. stable question!! =)

TRUE! Gosh, I miss the hayday of MTV when there were actually a good mix of videos and TV shows. Now it's all trash. I don't care about high school drama in Laguna Beach (I deal with their crap enough here at USC!)

mtv now wants to give what the people wants to see so that's why they're creating new programmes everyday...so that they could satisfy their audiences and their needs..i think it's still called mtv because it's what makes it famous in the first place...haha

It's still a recognized brand, even if the format has changed. It's not as IBM felt the need to change to the name of their company when they started selling PCs to the consumer market.

I thought MTV stood for music television .....
We dont get it here so I dont know whats changed ... but surely it's STILL music television ?
