Im thinking of getting guitar hero, is it any good? Does it teach you guitar, or is it just for fun?

It's awsome, best buy has a demo set up so you can test it out before you purchase. Which is a good idea considering you only get one guitar and those alone are pricey.

i love it! it is so amazing! I have 1 and 2 its like ddr and it is very helpful when you play the guitar. It does not teach you, it just is for fun and you can pick up skills like strums and fingerplacement. it helps you not look at the guitar when you play! i know from experience! Guitar Hero is amazing. it doesn't teach you guitar though. Hell, I know guitarists who complain that it's nothing like playing guitar.
But it's great fun.
