I am hesitant to say no only in that the NFC East has become so soft compared to what people expected. I think the Eagles could still back into this division title as the rest fall apart. We are talking about Garcia who has won championships...in the CFL, mind you...and was a decent QB prior to the first TO blow up.

As far as going on in the playoffs...I find it unlikely when they will have to play much stronger competition like the Bears and Seahawks.

Most definitely contenders. They're offense opened a lot of eyes against Dallas, and the defense shut down Pittsburgh and nearly broke Big Ben in half. The Rams, though...who cares? What people don't realize is Curtis, the teams supposed #1 receiver, hasn't played. If and when he comes back, he and DeSean Jackson will be a nasty receiving tandem, and more importantly the middle will open up for a finally healthy LJ Smith. As always, injuries will make or break this team...they had one shootout w/the widely believed to be best team in the NFC, and proved them can compete with them. So far as them being in the best division in the NFL, that's a benefit come playoff time. You see a team come out of the west with a 9-7 record, and think the team that makes it to 10-6 or 11-5 in the east is at a disadvantage? Being the best of the best is a huge advantage, and the Eagles have a shot at being just that in 08-09'

Hell NO. The Cowboys are gonna dominate. The Giants might take the wild card after they get man handled by the Cowboys next Sunday.

Philly should just try focusing on the wild card next year. Cause my 'BOYS will take the Division again.
