Quite simply, a psychoanalytical analysis of the dream would suggest that you keep bringing back the memories of your dad's death over and over again (you keep digging them up in your subconscious). Or maybe you are subconsciously curious about what he might look like after having been dead that long (been reading any horror fiction, or heard of exhumations on the news, or had a teacher in biology class or something (if you are still in school) describe what happens when people or animals die (lots of things could trigger it). Or you remember that the anniversary of the day he died is coming up soon, and are sad and miss him, and your memories (as suggested in the first, simpler idea) wish to come out (you haven't really finished grieving yet, or you still miss him, which is perfectly normal; in a society like ours we are often urged to repress our sorrow after a period of time, and, most likely, you just can't repress it any more, or it is closer to the surface than it has ever been).
I present these merely as suggestions based on the details you provided (remember they aren't the only possible solutions; only you can figure out the correct one for yourself, because a dream is your own and can be an expression of a part of yourself that is very deeply your own--it (this part, your subconscious) is, some would argue, the basis of your self) and hope they can help you reach some sort of a conclusion. Since you say that your dreams are recurring this suggests to me that this is at least related to something you feel deeply inside, even if you may not quite feel it on the surface; so, I am inclined to agree most with the last explanation I suggested as most probable (the first explanation is quite similar to the first, but I think the last may be closer to the root of your troubles; the second explanation would only fit better, in my opinion, if a) the dream wasn't recurring and b) this was not on a personal issue that seems to affect you deeply).

Well,In my opinion now might be a good time to seek your Father. That is to say your Heavenly Father.God has provided earthly parents to take care of us until we are able to take care of ourselves.I would say let the dead stay buried and move into the supernatural realm of seeking God.God has all the power, satan only has the little bit of power he can con out of the individual. And that is the power we are given by God.Just like back in the Garden of Eden.satan still tries to steal our power but now he can't take it all because Jesus is holding the main share for safe keeping. That is why we have to pray in Jesus's name to tap into the mother load of power God has provided us.Take Care and May God Bless You.

Its all just part of dealing with the death of a loved one. It happens to alot of people, I've lost three close relatives and a close friend and I dreamed about them for along time. It will stop after time goes by, Most of mine stopped once while dreaming I realized they were dead and told them that I know they were dead but that I loved them I hugged them and now I rarely dream of them anymore. Its all part of the morning process it is alright, there is nothing wrong with you. Your just not over it yet.

It might be your curiosity to know what has happened to your dad after he died. I know how you feel. When my grandpa was in the hospital I had a reoccuring dream. In my dream my grandpa had died and he was trying to get me to stop crying. I had this dream for weeks, even after he had already died.

sounds like you are still missing him a haven't dealt with your feelings yet maybe you were close and miss him or maybe you feel like you left something unsaid possibly you couldn't be there where he passed and are feeling guilty if that is the problem stop wallowing in misery and go see his grave and talk to him maybe he won't hear you depends on who is right about where we come from but YOU will and if you talk to him about how you feel it will help

I think its only your father's memories. Try to keep yourself engaged in some activity or the other.
You love your father and you will not forget him your whole life, but his memories should not haunt you.
