is it really that important where we come from and where we are going does our pass effect our future.

I think yes. For me, I feel very much connected about my culture, my family and my background.

My family and the society I grew up has formed my personality and made me what I am today. Without that, I would make different choices in my life, so I believe it does very much influence my future.

I think so - particularly when you consider that you are really the sum total of all of your experiences up until now. If you stop and look back, very often you can see a pattern - and actual path that has actually led you to a moment in time - well, this moment in time. It is often said "the unexamined life is hardly worth living" simply because you miss the beauty of the journey - you know what I mean?

most important where we are NOW...

then where we are going....

then where we have been....

People concentrate too much on where they have been or came from to concentrate on the now and the future.

It does as long as we say it does. If we say ot doesn;t and we live into our possibilitiues, those possibitlties becoem our future.
