Actually they are not related at all, well except for they are both animals, and are both arthropods. Lobsters are Crustaceans, whereas cockroaches are insects, they do have some simiarities, but they have more differences. Cockroaches are actually more closely related to Mantids and to termites than any other insects, and lobsters are more closely related to shrimp and crabs than to any insects....

No, lobsters will not survive through anything, do not live in garbage cans and arent a pest species. Aside from numerous biological differences.

Nope, the cockroaches of the sea are the horseshoe crabs.
