No, those that are destroying the USA are the corporate big boys who are selling out this country and its jobs to the lowest bidder round the world. Send the jobs to China and now Bush's Vietnam, and let us patriots wonder what happened in ten years when we are a third world country and trillions of dollars in debt. This cynical disregard for this country and its citizens is unparalleled in history, and it is some of the most unpatriotic behavior of all time.

The reason we have capitalism at all in the US is the laws and programs brought into existence during the presidency of the all-time greatest liberal Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
When he took over in 1933 people were seriously concerned that the depression was so bad (it actually got worse) that the public would simply term to communism, whose promoters said it was the way out of their misery.
Ever since then, liberals have been working to take the rough edge off capitalism, and make it more equitable for all.

Not according to true old liberalism. I think liberals are too politically correct, but as far as capitalism it is simply not true because if they did the people will overthrow the government.

I think this contention is actually the extreme rhetoric of right-wingers. No true liberal seeks to destroy our economic system, although they may favor greater government regulations and involvement in it. And they would contend that they are as pro-America as anyone. On the other hand, communists i.e. Castro indeed would like to destroy both our economic system and our country!

Liberalism is based on Socialism. The redistribution of Wealth and the death of personal achievement. It didn't work for the Soviet Union, it's not working in Cuba but these folks still want to try it here.
They totally disregard the benefit of introducing Competition into a problem.
For example, Education. The Administration attempted to introduce School Vouchers so that Parents of Children in Schools that were not performing results were not left at the mercy of underachieving educators and could relocate their child to a School which better challenged the youngster.
Yet our Socialist Comrads were more concerned in saving the jobs of unmotivated teachers rather than allowing Competition to reveal once and for all just where the problem actually is.
Of course Socialism has nothing to do with fixing problems but it acts more like a fascilitator of the problem, allowing it to go on "maintained" by Government in order to keep the masses dependant upon them.
Why, if these kids actually learned something they might take these Politicians job some day.....We can't have that, now can we?

Yes, like Nikita Kruschev said, "We will bury you".
And don't forget our chairman Mao called you, "Running dogs of capitalism".
Long live Alfred E. Newman, you are all conservative weaklings.
