You groin is never usually exposed... your chest probably a little.. but your head hair all the time. Thus it gets lighter... ?
Or maybe the texture of the hair is different with your chest/groin. Not sure about that...
How red? lol. Or did you get a novelty pubic hair dye? ;-)

it sounds like your a natural red hair, but the sun and air effect the one on your head as for as bleaching it out and the one on your chest does not get as much sun as the one on your head, so it is darker; brown. their ya go. take care.
