I'm looking for a shaver for a Christmas gift, but I don't know which one is good. I don't know how different between the circular shavers and the straight-normal shavers. Which one works better??

Ok, you're getting into real personal for guys...

Guys fall into three basic categories: blade, and what you call circular, and what you call straight-normal.

Know you're man... a guy who likes one is generally unlikely to change (unless you're doing the demo on him naked - then odds on he'll switch to whatever... ).

Figure that out and you'll have him...

Pretty much a circular (which I'm quite fond of, though I'm a straight guy) or regular (which I'm less fond of... though I've had an erricson or some such for twenty years - I use a blade instead).

All in all - I'd recommend a Norelco rotary, despite my personal preferences. Smooth shave, nice movement of the heads. They feel good to shave with, frankly. Just don't do very well under the neck.
