1. Black raisins: A sherbet made with black raisins, sugar and fennel seeds (saunf) helps to bring quick results as it cleans the digestive tract and chases body heat away. See the recipe of Fruitful Healer

2. Fruits and vegetables: Fruits and vegetables like cucumber, oranges, watermelon, papaya, chickoo, mint, spinach etc. are rich in fibre and nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E which help to have a glowing skin. Include the Cooling Cucumber Raita, in your meals everyday and you will see the results yourselves.

3. Multani mitti (Fuller's Earth), rose water and sandalwood paste: A paste made with equal proportions of these three ingredients when applied on the face for 15 to 20 minutes will rejuvenate acne prone oily skin.

4. Tomato: Rub the slices of ripe tomato over the skin. Dry it for ½ an hour and wash off with lukewarm water.
5. Tulsi (Indian basil): A mixture of juice of tulsi with lemon or ginger (adrak) will also help to cure the pimples with its scars.

To tell you the truth there is no way to prevent somthing that they have not found a cure for.(other than acutane) Now with that said you can only contain it. It usually involves a bacteria on the face which infects the hair folice. This bacteria can be contolled with the use of benzoly peroixdes. (this dries out the skin) Try over the counter products first. If that doesnt prevent them then you must get your acne assesed by a dermotologist since skin types vary. So treatment vary for each person. Somthing that works on one person might not work on others. So go experiment.

When I was a teenager I tried everything. Best results came from good old school Noxzema. Twice a day. If you need a treatment for existing pimples, Persa-Gel is good. If that doesn't do the job, see your doctor. It's really not a dumb thing to see a physician about, and there are several prescription treatments available. Better take care of them now than deal with acne scars forever!

The best thing for you to do is to keep your face cleaned, then after you wash your face use a basic astringent like Clean and clear or Noxema. The worst thing you can do is touch your face with your hands , in any case you should break out NEVER pop your pimples without immediately cleaning it with alchahol. Since your hands are dirty and your nails especially you only cause spreading of the acne. Hope this helps.

Drink a lot of water about a glass full of it every time you think about your pimples. Give up all your oily diet and eat plain vegetarian food and if possible use a face wash daily. If the problem coninues consult a doctor.
