It's best not to do that because you cant be sure she will drink all of the formula and that means she wouldnt get all the medicine. It wont affect the way the medicine works but you want to make sure she gets it all.

My son always used to spit out medicine too at that age. The solution to the problem that I found helpful...Buy a syringe or medicine dropper, and put it in baby's mouth on the side, and go as far back as possible (dont do it straight bacause the baby will gag, thats why it is important to do it near the inside of the cheek), and give the medicine, it should go straight down the throat so baby doesnt even taste it, and it happens so fast that she wont have time to spit it out! Good luck I really hope this helps!!

yes it also work but the problem is..... you are not sure that it will all be consumed.once a half of it was left the amount of medicine that the baby needs will not meet the amount that the baby had to take.....and it will cause less effective than when you will give it directly to the mouth.
if it really sounds more easier to you to give them meds with the formula, make a formula less than the usual amount,to be sure that the baby will take it all................

the meds won't be affected i found that to be one of the only ways to get meds down sometimes except laying baby between legs securing her head and arms and using a dropper in the corner of the back of the mouth it throws the formula taste off some babies will drink it in there formula some won't just remember it got to go in and a healthy baby is the important thing

Hi. I think its better for you to check with the pharmacist whether do the medications of your child have any effect if mixed with the formula milk. We may never know whether the medication's effect will be lessen or not.

Actually, if you just squeeze their little cheeks and put the medicine directly in their little mouths, the medicine is much more effective and works much quicker.
