Their self image can't be that great, I mean, they are doing it out of desperation, aren't they?
There are plenty of other ways to make money. I suppose it's gotta be a way to do something and not resort to outright prostitution.

I think the reasons they do it are as varied as why people do other jobs. I think some want the attention, some are just in it for the money. I'm sure some of them probably have self-esteem problems. But I think it would depend on each person. Some people really like doing that kind of work. I guess it isn't any different from any other kind of job.

my bestie was a stripper....i know its not the same but she had positive self image....wasnt attention seeking. she just enjoyed it and was comfortable in her own skin.
