well im looking at this MP3 player and it says a hole list of things and fetures and then it says DVR what is it?

It can mean many things like Digital Voice Recognition,..
I have the feeling though that it's talking about Digital Video Recordings (which can have both Audio and Video in them).
Tivo started the DVR stuff,.. now some cable services have "built in DVR". So it is posible your MP3 Player is capable of retaining Movies or episodes from Television... from Television to Your MP3 player. Then you can try to watch things on the tiny screen,.. or if your lucky (and what's likely) you can hook your MP3 up to something else like a Computer or Television and send the DVR there or play the DVR on your MP3 player and it be viewed on a Monitor or TV.
