Health controversy
For an increase in certain types of rare tumors (cancer) in long-time, heavy users. More recently a pan-European study provided significant evidence of genetic damage under certain conditions. Some researchers also report the mobile phone industry has interfered with further research on health risks. So far, however, the World Health Organization Task Force on EMF effects on health has no definitive conclusion on the veracity of these allegations. (See also electromagnetic radiation hazard.) It is generally thought, however, that RF is incapable of producing any more than heating effects, as it is considered non-ionizing radiation; in other words, it lacks the energy to disrupt molecular bonds such as occurs in genetic mutations.[5]
Driving controversy
Another controversial but potentially more lethal health concern is the correlation with road traffic accidents. Several studies have shown that motorists have a much higher risk of collisions and losing control of the vehicle while talking on the mobile telephone simultaneously with driving, even when using "hands-free" systems. Other studies have shown that using a mobile phone while driving poses the same risk as someone operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Four U.S. states and many countries, such as Australia, have now restricted or prohibited the use of mobile phones while driving. In Israel and nearly all European countries, driving whilst using a hand-held mobile phone is illegal.
Potential danger during electrical storms
In 2006, it was reported [7] that mobile phone users suffer much more serious lesions than non-users, in case of being struck by lightning during an electrical storm. Cell phones do not, however, present the danger of a land line during an electrical storm; whereas wires can carry a lightning strike to a nearby telephone user, cell phone signals are immune to such danger

Cell Phone Health Risk Cannot Be Dismissed, WHO Says
HELSINKI (Reuters Health) Sept 07 - A link between mobile phone usage and cancer should not be summarily dismissed, an official at a World Health Organization agency said on Friday.
"More research is needed," Elisabeth Cardis, Chief of Radiation and Cancer at the WHO's International Agency for Research in Cancer, told a conference in Helsinki.
The explosive growth in mobile phone use, particularly in Europe and the United States, has increased the public debate over possible health risks linked to mobile phones. While a few studies claim there is a connection, most authoritative studies have not been able to conclude that regular mobile phone usage could damage a person's brain.
"Based on current epidemiological evidence, there is no evidence of a strong association between RF [radio frequency] exposure and cancer," Cardis said. "One can't rule out that there is a risk, but if there is a risk to mobile phone users it would be very small."
Cardis said research by the INTERPHONE study group would focus on a link between cancer and cellular telephones. She said this would be more thorough than previous studies because it would span a period of 3 years and would go into more detail, such as research into lower-frequency electromagnetic fields to and from phones.
The INTERPHONE study results should be ready in 2004.

Yes.
It depends on the equipment. It depends on type of use(how many hours). It depends on the person using it.
The risk is there but it increases with amount of use.
If the receiving and broadcasting antenna are locate so that it is close to the certain parts of the brain where scull tissue has holes or is soft or is thin, then it creates a condition ripe for brain tumour there, if the use it excessive.

For over 10 years now they have been linking excessive cell phone use with brain tumors in people. Certain model phones are worse than others depending on the antenna and the way the phone is made. The phone manufacturers were "supposed" to put in "wave blocks" so that it would not be directely in contact with your brain but I haven't read anything more over the years that they have done this.

Most serious danger is using mobile phone while driving. Other side effects of using mobile is under research but this danger has become proved. So request to all of you not to use mobile during driving even don't use blue tooth, as it does not reduce your risk of accident. During talking on mobile and driving simultaneously risk of accident increases more than100%.

Coconut is extreme in saturated fat. So in case you're averting sat fat for well being rasons, stay away from coconut. Coconut is, inspite of the undeniable fact that, very extreme in fiber. So in case you go with fiber for regardless of reason, extra effective than well-known, decide for it.

yes using cell phone is harmfull because it may cause harmfull effect on brain, on gonads (testis or ovary) or even on ur heart
in brain it's wave seems to cause some damage on edothelial cells of blood vessels of brain , in gonads it causes some ill effect on meiotic cell division of gonads , similarly it's wave causes (if u keep the mobile near heart) some disturbance in a-v node of heart causing arrythmia - lahiri (gwalior)
