Can I do this on the Sims 1 and 2 (regular versions only)?

I want to know it you can have kids on those games because my little sister plays it and wants to know. It never works on her so I need to know if she is doing it right. I know, this is a weird question.

I have it on PS2 not PC so please, tell me what you can.

Yea you can have kids on both.. i havent played sims 1 in a while but I think u have to kiss the other sim until a memo pops up saying "would you like to have a baby" and thats where you click YES!

And in sims 2 you have to get both sims who r in love "relaxing" on a double bed and select one sim and click the other sim - click "try for baby" and then she will be pregnant and u have to wait 3 days or something.
