Have her diplomas and medical licenses professionally framed in matching frames. It'll be kind of expensive, but will look great in her office.

Make her a little hamper, filled with all of her favourite smellies (have a look around her bathroom). Also, maybe a nice sterling silver little watch (not for the wrist, but the one's that clip onto a nurses uniform). Try not to be tacky, but make this something very special. Also, cook her a nice meal, get a bottle of wine, and her favourite chick flick (or action movie, etc.) Trust me, you'll win. When men make the effort with lots of little presents that he took time with gathering and presenting, especially with something that little bit extra special as the master peice, they'll remember how much care and time you took into this.

I would get her something that can be engraved with a special message from you. That way, not only will she have something that's pretty to look at, but it will be even more special because of the message from you. If you can't think of anything, maybe you can get her a heart-shaped locket engraved with something like " When my heart is broken, only you can fix it" or anything you can think of. I know it sounds corny, but she's a doctor, who obviously has your heart, so...... it makes sense that she'd be the one to make you all better again, when you're having a bad day. Doctor or not, she is still a woman take her out for romantic meal tell her how proud you are of her and bye her flowers, and if you feel she still should have something more get her a piece of jewelry. Sheila.
