Your time on earth or any other planet is like school. Your purpose here is to learn which may not be possible in one life alone. People here learn at different levels, that's why they will be reborn a different number of times. Your soul will graduate when you reach your level then you will enjoy eternity in heaven. Reincarnation is the transmigration of the soul. If you're rich in one life, you may be poor in the other just to learn how each way feels. It is pure assumption. Funny how the West adopts the belief system of a country nobody in their right mind would want their life to be like.
Reminds me of a country who adopted the gods of a people who had been defeated in war for the purpose of being unbeatable in war.
