I am from texas, my guinea pigs live indoors. I am flying through delta and my 2 guinea pigs are going with me. I'm worried because when I get off the plane and to the airport, then to the car of whom picks me up. The guinea pigs will be brought out into the cold? I'm worried, I was going to take a blanket and wrap it around their cage, any suggestions? What should I do will the guineas be ok? When I get to my friends house we will be inside, also the guineas. The car will also have a heater for when we get in the car.

Definately take a blanket to wrap their cage in. Guinea pigs catch pneumonia very easily because their bodies do not make Vitamin C.
Tryo to keep the guinea pigs out of the wind as much as possible. When you are in the car, you can take the blanket off of the cage, as long as there are no car windows open.

Also, before you leave, get a small bottle of Nature's Made Vitamin C and feed a little bit to the piggies. Mine will eat eat the tablet on her own (it's the only chewable that I ahve found that she'll eat). Don't worry about over-dosing your piggies, what their bodies don't use will be urinated out.

Good luck.

Well,my answer would be NO.
NEVER bring guinea pigs or other rodents out in the cold.

they should be fine for the few minutes they are outside. i'd be more worried about them surviving the flight, and the trip through customs. Have you checked, because many rodents aren't allowed to be imported without a specific licence

Whalewatching (there are extensive-unfold excursions leaving from Victoria) is something i can exceptionally propose. different than for that, on my own recent trip I spent maximum of my time in Vancouver itself, so i do no longer probably have any further techniques for Vancouver Island.

Try and adapt them to the cold by leaving them in the coldest place in your hour for a few hours a day then they will be fine

If you consider their native habitat, which is high in the Andes mountains, they should be ok for thr short period that they will be outdoors.
