Is it really noticable when you notice a woman not wearing make up all of a sudden? Like say you see this woman like every day at work or etc and suddendly she does not wear make up (and suppose she did not wear clown make up in the first place just regular make up). Is it really noticable? Like "Who are you?!" kind of thing?

It depends on the woman. If she has a habit of going out in public with makeup caked on like Tammy Faye Bakker and suddenly shows up with none at all (why she would do that, I don't know), then yeah I would notice.

But if she wears very little makeup and then one day shows up with none at all, the chances of my noticing it are slim.

Yes, I notice what my girl friend wears. Occasionally other people too. Mostly the only thing I notice in other girls is a change in hair or something like that.

Yes...

1) the slightest, most basic make up will "mask" the little imperfections. not to mention heavy make up.

2) "who are you" kind of thing...nonsense.. unless the person is giving that comment has a POOR memory.

3) But i feel, its a brave decision for someone not to wear make up if permits at work.. she is proud of who she is

so be brave ......

Women wear make-up for women, not men or themselves. It is all part of natural competitiveness. Don't worry about the men, they just won't care as they don't judge others by the way they look as much as women do.

Men generally prefer women without makeup -- the question most of them have in their minds is "What's she trying to cover up?"

It's more noticable when there's too much effort, like paralyzing your face or swelling it because you age... not that I encounter this in my own age group... I can laugh but have sympathy for our age obsessed culture...
