I am booking a suprise trip for my husband and i to go to key west in JANUARY.... But....is it going to be too cold to go to the beach and the pool?

No one likes surprises- please discuss a trip with your husband- Key West is ok but there is also Hawaii. And January- right after Christmas? How about going somewhere after your tax return?

The air temps will average mid 70's. If you can swim in that weather then you are fine. Otherwise, enjoy the beaches and warmer air.

Being a Florida Boy - it could really be great that time of year.
Some resort sites post the weather throughout the year - as to what you can expect - call and ask what their pool temperature is - and enjoy your stay!

Yes, it will probably be too cold for the pool. You could have a nice picnic on the beach probably.

well if u are planning to swim it is ackward, but if u are going for the view, i think you'll have a romantic and lovely time...good luck
