She ratted him out because she felt that he was unable to do his job without her and he was telling her that he could. He tried and it seemed to go alright but then his stitching blew up in her face. He was telling her that it was okay but she couldn't be certain anymore. Of course that means she ratted herself out as well for covering up for him all these weeks and putting the hopital at risk for a lawsuit. So what she did was turn herself in. Expect her to get punished as well.
As for George and Callie, that won't last long. Let's face it, she is telling him she slept with Sloane when they wer broken up. They were broken up for all of one day. She moved out. She asked George for hotel sex. he was busy. He goes to see her. She breaks up with him. Boom, she has sex with Sloane. So trying to pass it off like it was nothing won't work with O'Malley. Plus, I think his parents want him to be sleeping with Izzie. After all, she tells them all his secrets.
An interesting thought on the relationship between Callie and George is the shower scene where she walks out in his towel. He complains. She drops it and he and Izzie are looking at her bare butt walking away. The interesting part was how when Geoge was taking a shower Izzie barged in and they had ro have this whole boundaries debate. Izzie was on the side of being more revealing. But, when she was talking to George's parents about looking at Callie naked she said she had seen way to much of her. So like I was saying, there is a triangle going on here and Izzie is after George though she is afraid to admit it.

1. Christina/Burke : After Burke was shot, he never fully recovered. He never fully gained control of his hands, and as a surgeon, his hands are his most prized possession. Christina is helping Burke to conceal his inability to operate.
2. I think Christina's guilt finally caught on plus Christina's character has always been too proud. So I guess her ego got bruised when Preston finally said no to her.
3. Lastly, I think Callie is a wonderful addition to Grey's Anatomy. I think George's character is still undecided regarding how he truly feels for Callie.

Pft George is a lil emo kid, but his dad is going to die, so I'll let it slide. About Christina rating Burke out. I know I was like WTF!?!?!
I personally think she was just angry and wanted revenge for Burke getting pissed at her in the O.R. and yelling at her "I DONT NEED YOU"

I'm actually can't stand Chris so I was screaming for joy when Burke closed the door in her face at the end. She ratted him out bcuz she said she couldn't deal with the guilt. I think it's bcuz her pride was hurt bcuz he told her that he didn't need her. Whatever the case, I hope that they are donezo for good!

I think she got scared when he went off by him self knowing she wasn't going to be there to cover him. And she knew mistakes could happen and someone could die. I was really pissed when he shut the door on her when she went home. I mean he knew he was having problems. But that's tv land for you.
