It states in the Quran that you can have up to four wives if you meet certain criteria. There requirements are so difficult to meet that 99.5% of men who marry multiple wives are wrongly using "religion" as an excuse to have multiple women in the sheets.
This is sort of like Osama using religion in order to justify his actions. He has chosen his path long before, and brought forth religion in order to justify it to the masses and gain approval. And by using religion to justify his actions, he has in turn mislead some of the extreme elements of the religion into joining his "cause". Isn't it funny how many wrongs have been committed in the name of "religion". I honestly wonder if anyone in this world can read a religious book well enough to actually understand its teachings.

Yes, Muslim men can have multiple of wives, at least up to 4 but only if he can support them. If he can only afford one house, then one wife he can only afford to have.

I am not Muslim, but as I heard they can have up to four wives if they are enough rich to sustain the four and make no differences between them

may i cn help cz im muslms yeah he can have multiple wives but he should amend between the 4 that mean for exempl if he want to buy somthing to his wife he should buy for the 4 the same thing but in our days is it rarly to find some one marry 4 life is so hard today and is not so easy to marry 4 im not with it but alwayz god is right and never wrong god mad it for some raison and he can maried just 4 not up to 4

You can but u have to treat them equally and with out bias and sustain them and only up to 4 many like a poster above said do not do it the right way and are abusing the religion and are wrong

my friend told me that they could have up to 4 wives but that they had to be able to support them all
