To me, its someone who I can actually have a decent conversation with, not simply superficial conversations but conversations that are deep. Trust is another issue, if you tell your friend something they need to learn how to keep their mouth shut when you tell them something extremely personal. Honesty- if your friends are complete liars its pointless because there will be no trust. Someone who shares similar interests that way you can do activities together. Most of all someone who is on the same level as you, meaning they are not a bad influence on you and do not force you to do something you do not wish to do.

A good and true friend is there with you when you're in trouble and they dont mind talking to you when everyone else is ready to kill you. They tell you the truth9even if you dont want to hear it) and they will tell you when your right or when youre being an ***.
True friends are rare and should be treasured cause they can not be replaced. They are there for you when no one else is.
