like what jerd leto does. and also im talking about the Alternative Rock music genre. they will sing lyrics and then they will scream it, how do they do it?

if they are screaming, they are not singing. Therefore they are not "music artists" but rather screaming artists

They use a mixer, they prerecord stuff and then play it back when they want, adding it to the track. For concerts, they just play that extra bit on queue.
