Company A: I've been working here for 6yrs, hourly wage, NO benefits, but good company pension plan, 3 weeks paid vacation. My work hrs are from 10:30hrs-19:00hrs (no traffic), travel time is 25 minutes (no bridges to cross). My job is basically call taker and a lot of data entry. I get along with my co-workers and my boss & I get along well, maybe because we have the same b-day.
Company B: A week ago, offered me a position with benefits (no pension plan) and a promise for the same hourly wage and an increase after 3 months, no annual raise but a promise for bonus base on my productivity, no guarantee. My hours will be from 8am-430pm, travel time is 30-40min (1 bridge to cross), my duties would be the same, don't know about my co-workers yet, but the supervisor & I used to work together 8 yrs ago.

I would stay with Job A. However, I would meet with your Boss. Possibly, take him/her out for lunch or coffee after work and tell your boss, that you love working in the company, and you have been there for six years, so you are a dedicated employee. However, you were offered another position and they include benefits, and raises, and a bonus. Don't tell the details of the latter two. Say that you would love to stay at the company, however, it is a very nice offer, and you thought you should discuss the future of wanting to stay where you are, as you have been commited to the company for 6 yrs already, however, it is hard to turn down another offer that is giving you benefits and more income. With the cost of living always increasing, it's an important decision that you wanted to discuss with with him/her, and see what they think and what the company could do...This approach may work well, as you are getting them to be part of the solution. You are giving them respect, but you are also letting them know that you are a good and dedicated employee (hard to find)... Also think about the time and the travel of these 2 jobs.. If you have to be at a job at 8 am and you have to travel 30-40 minutes (is that during rush hour ?) .. that's quite different than being at work at 10:30am (25 min and no traffic)..
In addition, Pension plans are a (big) plus.. However, don't tell your boss that the other Co. isn't offering that..
Tell the pluses, that the other Co. are offering you...and hopefully your Boss, will value you as a reliable and dedicated person and try to work out something that you will be happy with.

First, you need health benefits. Talk to boss about this, once he knows youll leave hell provide them. Its crucial. if you get sick, youll go broke. I like B's hours better for you, but you're comfortable with people at A. I would talk to B's supervisor that you know and find scoop on employees there. Pension plan you can do on your own, it's easy. Personally I might change, change is good. Unless your "really" comfortable at job A. I don't like the fact no medical though. Tell ya what, if you like job A, ask boss to swap pension for medical ok. Buy some mutual funds and set up your own pension. Still though, I like change. Good luck , hope all this helped.

with B ...benefits make a difference...especially as you get older and if you plan to stay in this job a while and you can always get your own IRA account...but there is no mention of vacation ? and you have no guarantees
I'd stick with
with A... you get pension plan, 3 weeks paid vacation( rare) ...great hours...less stress driving.....and you could always ask for a raise all they can say is NO...big whoop..or they can say YES
i don't know where you live ...but if in U.S. you can always see a doctor at a medical care clinic like CareNow for like 45$or so and they are open later than regular doctors offices till 10pm here
BUT THE CHOICE IS ULTIMATELY UP TO YOU.....GOOD LUCK :o)

for me i think i will stay on A..coz moving to B not bring a lot of benefits..and everything is still unclear...so its very risky to move there...and actually the good benefit already given by A is the pension fund..the working hour is also very good, no traffic...
but of course these juz an advice honey, you must decide by yourself.. think carefully about the benefits and the jobs, choose the jobs that you prefer... so you won't regret it..

I surely have observed in my existence of human adventure, that if a guy or woman has no longer surely had some "unusual" element take place to THEM OR in the event that they experience the society as an entire would not settle for this occurring as real, then the guy it somewhat occurred to won't relate it, yet whilst they do, then noone will have self assurance it. an prolonged way around to assert, I purely do no longer understand this phenomena. maximum folk won't have self assurance in extra- terrestrials, they gained't have self assurance in out-of-physique reports, they gained't have self assurance in paranormal, they gained't have self assurance in "ghosts", they gained't have self assurance in something they have not experienced with a number of their 5 senses. they are going to have self assurance, each and every thing the television tells them, ditto the radio information, and ditto what their neighbor tells them to be "certainty". My answer may be: Get each and all the counsel i could desire to get. i might by no ability evaluate this guy or woman to be derainged except they have been exhibiting confident signs and indicators of hallucinations.
