I don't exactly pray to St. Anthony but I pray to anyone and I mean anyone who will listen.Sometimes St. Anthony is busy helping someone else and I can't take that chance of waiting because usually when I misplace something it's my keys or my glasses that I need right away!!

I did that today, I put away a little wrapped Christmas gift and I couldn't find it!!!! I explored around the house, going to places I might have "put it for safekeeping." I finally found it on the second shelf of my bookcase - still in the bag & very safe! lol

I solve the problem of missing car keys by installing a key holder on the wall in the utility room. Every time I come in thru the garage, it's the first thing I do before I even get to the kitchen with the bags. I always know where my keys are now.

If you need to keep a lot of little notes, reminders, tasks, etc. then get one large spiral notebook and keep it by your phone. Each time you need to remember something or make a list or whatever, write it in the spiral notebook. All the little pieces of paper won't get lost all over the house and you'll have less clutter.

You could invest in a cedar chest of some sort and keep it in your closet or use it for a coffee table. Keep things in there you need to get at later - gifts you're saving for people or whatever. It will be your "safe keeping" place and you can even get a hinged one with a lock - just don't lose the key to the lock (see above key rack). :)

unless its something you need right away and can't do without, by all means, search everywhere....otherwise calmly try to recall the last time you saw it, you might just remember where you placed it. If its not that important, try not to stress, when you least expect it, while looking for something else, you'll find what you lost. And you will probably kick yourself for not looking at the most obvious place. Its happened to me alot.

Whenever I lose something I can never remember where I last put it and the more I try to remember the worse my brain gets. So what I do is think about something else and usually it then comes to me.

I ask my 2 year-old what he did with mommy's keys, or whatever else I am looking for. I couldn't find one of his sippy cups for several days and one day I went to put him on his potty chair and found it in there so that is always the first place I look now. I have found my wallet and keys in there so far...lol

press the button that makes it ring. I mean, call your cell phone. I mean, crap...you didn't lose your phone?
sit, think, relax. then dig. it will probably be in the place you have to check twice. so check extra good the first time. also consider what might have happened to it if other people came into contact with it, or animals

yes, you pray to St Anthony, offer 3 Hail Marys but leave out the second part (Holy Mary, Mother of God...) until St Anthony finds your item. Then you give him the rest of the HAil Marys. Works every time if done sincerely.

Pray to St. Anthony. He's the Patron Saint of Lost causes. Start saying to yourslef, (or out loud), "St. Anthony, St. Anthony please come around. Somethings been lost and cannot be found." Then state what you've lost. It sounds dumb, but I've had it work many a time!!

Not looking for it, mostly of the times when you need something and you look for it you don't find it until you don't nee it no more or you've almost forgot about it.
