I don't think there is a limit either.

That kid who set up the website "www.soccernet.com" - was only 12 years old. He used to update football scores by checking Ceefax and then updating his site.

He did have his father "help" him a little - but only a little, for buying url and perhaps guardianship.

They sold the rights to the business and the domain for £250,000 not long afterwards.

However perhaps not the best decision, as Disney/ESPN bought it from the new owers for £80 million just a couple of years after that.

Apparently, the isn't any minimum age beacuse as long as you are capable and responsible enough to pay your income taxes and other dues concerning your business, then the age factor shouldn't be of any hindrance for you to own/operate a business.

There is no age limit to trade. But if you trade in anything with an age limit then you will not be allowed to buy own or sell such products legally.

You will need to be 18 so that you can contract to buy stock and sell product. If you can get a parent or some other adult to be a silent partner, that would work.

18 in most states, if your business involves signing contracts you can't do it until you're 21.
