If a male wants to brush his hair, he takes a brush and runs it through his hair until it looks tidy and somewhat fashionable. If a female wants to brush her hair, she washes it, conditions it, combs it, blow dries it with at least one type of hair brush, sprays, gels or mousses it and then pats it in place.
Of course, some males (young teenagers) go through many of the same steps (or more) than the females.
