I think... you are experiencing "insomnia". It is a sleeping disorder when a person has difficulty in falling asleep and usually wakes up frequently at the middle of the night and then even you try again to close your eyes and try to be sleepy, you really can't... Definitely, that is Insomnia..Usually, there are so many things that can cause that like stress or anxiety, the environment you have, the lifestyle you have, and even the feeling of excitement for something. If you have emotional problems right now, maybe that is the cause... Maybe you are thinking a lot of somethings...Is it quiet in your place? Maybe you are being disturbed by the people around you.. Or do you smoke or drink? Perhaps that also triggers.. But if you think you are not into all of those.. then you must observe yourself what maybe hindering you to fall asleep.. I advice you to relax yourself.. If you are always tired, it can also be a cause.. Try to eat healthy foods... Don't think too much.. Always have a deep breath and keep yourself calm.... Think of every good things you have and then I know you won't be stressed that much... Sleep tight.. And may you have a wonderful dream...

. I just think too much. I have been this way most of my life. All I can say is that people tell me what I missed last night I will catch up on the next night. Then I can't sleep through the next night either. I hope you can find a way. I started taking sleeping pills and those haven't worked for me either. Oh and I was told not to drink alcohol before I try to sleep.

I have the same problem as you. You might be stressed or bored. Try to find some interesting hobbies to keep you pumped throughout the day so you can rest at night. There are some good sleeping pills that have minimum side effects you might want to talk to your doctor more about this problems

Probably should try to have a sleep study done. Perhaps you are stressed out or something else like sleep apnea or snoring. Could also be that your sleep environment has too many noises.

Me too! I think maybe you or I have something like sleep anxiety. Before you sleep your heart starts beating faster and then you can't sleep for a while.
