Can someone tell me the flirting style of a Taurus guy?

Because I've been trying to figure out what this guy is and I think I've got it down to him either being a Scorpio or Capricorn, but my friends think he is a Taurus. He seems to have that "Scorpio stare," he makes a lot of jokes when entertaining a crowd, but when alone he is very very very quiet with me. I always catch him watching me though, and he compliments me a lot... And please don't say ask him...I feel like it might make him uncomfortable.

Is "flirting" actually in the Taurus dictionary? They aren't quick to make the first move and although they can be very passionate, they will probably take things pretty slow. It seems if he's not talking much...then there would be alot of staring. Scorpios do not offer many compliments. Don't forget that the signs of the other planets also give you clues to his character.
...I think I saw him just last week...yeah, he's the guy that had the tee-shirt that read, "Just Ask...I don't bite!" Geez...just say something sweet like, "When's your birthday?...cause I wouldn't want to miss it."

He definitely sounds like a Taurus, I should know - have a weak spot for them.

Here's an idea - just ask when his birthday is and you can look it up later. Or, find an excuse to ask to look at his driver's license and note the date of birth :)

Both female and male Taurus are known to have no flirting skills at all.

taurus guys are a friendly lot but they are one to show outright they are flirting. he likes to look at the object of his attention even masking it by looking sideways, gazing when the other party is not looking. once he is focused on you he can be a bit obsessive.
