For various reasons, aesthetic or medical, sunless tanning removal might become necessary. Sometimes, the tanning process doesn't go properly, resulting in an orange or uneven tan. Such unfortunate results can be reversed using simple methods, such as soaking with water.
How can water help? Only the outermost dead skin cells are colored in brown. Getting wet, the same cells act like sponges, becoming larger. Thus, the tanning removal process is easier. Sunless tan doesn't last longer than a real sun tan, so consumers shouldn't be too worried. Baking soda and a massage, rubbing in circles, can be helpful for removing the tan under the shower.
The place where the uneven tan is displayed determines how difficult its removal will be. Those who have already experienced it know that removing the tan from the palms of the hands or soles of the feet is more difficult than removing it from the neck zone.
Some manufacturers and tanning experts suggest using a purple or blue shade sunscreen, while keeping a moisturised skin. But these particular sunscreens do not include a full ultraviolet rays protection. Women are told to buy a bronze powder to hide or at least to attenuate the orange tint.

If you have a chance hit a sunless tanning booth in the morning, and use your make-up to hide and even out the orange glow. A lighter powder with a dust bronzer should help.
Good Luck and if he missed you he will be happy to see you and not the faux pas :D

Alpha hydoxy lotion, for the face or for the body. It's a topical exfoliant. Be careful and read the directions! Don't make it worse by over scrubbing, which can be really irritating to your skin and then you look really terrible. Check out www.cosmeticscop.com where you will find good skin care advice! Good luck!

Do not over scrub. You will irritate your skin and then become red. I am in the biz, so to speak, and your best bet is a gentle exfoliation to remove the color captured in the dry skin. Then, use mineral oil (baby oil), olive oil, or gylcerin SPARINGLY. Rub it in, and wipe excess with water, then a towel. THen you will need time. This will get much of the color out, but you will still be a little orange for your date tomorrow.

shaving will take off a fake tan on your legs. As far as the rest of it, i really cant think of anything. How long has it been? If it was less than six hours ago, try taking a shower. When I got a spray on tan, the girl who did it told me to wait six hours or else it would come off. It could work for that too.

try a body exfoliant/scrub. but dont rub too hard cuz you can irratate your skin. a good scrub should get rid of the artificial tan in one shower.
