how do you avoid eyeliner from melting and totally messes up your eye makeup?

i love my eyes. i want to emphasize my eyes so much. i wear subtle make up to school but sometimes i wanna feel like angelina jolie in "alexander" and mimic her eye makeup. but after some hours, i end up looking almost like a raccoon. the eyeliner just melts down. i get oily skin at the day and i want to retain the makeup i had at the morning. help.

Its best to use a powder but with a powder you cannever get the deep eye effect! But if you really want that look (which is as black as u canget) use a liquid liner that is water proof. http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P35210&categoryId=B70
Awesome stuff. (i live for sephoras makeup) but if u dont want to spend that kind of $$ look for water proof & smudge proof liquid liner at your drug store.

right that's what I do...I certainly have on no account had a venture when you consider that i began out doing this gadget . Line your eyes...in spite of if or no longer it extremely is with pencil or liquid liner. Then take a eyeliner brush or splendor q-tip. utilising the comparable shade "powder" eyeshadow in a shade as close to to the lining shade as achieveable....dot the powder over the best of the lining . this could remedy your venture.

use a powder eyeliner. i got some pressed powder that is meant to fill in the eyebrows so it is really dark. i dip my brush ( a firm short brissled one) in water and swipe the powder. then line my lids and let it dry. since it is a powder, it won't melt. and since it has been set with water it is hard to wipe off. you can apply the liner before the rest of your eyeshadow if you want a subtler line or after for a full punchy effect. good luck!!
