If you puched with a fist, you would see some blood. If you got cut by the glass, you may need to go to hospital to sew your skin back together. I got a scar because of that.
Not the most pleasing thing to have.

Wrap you shirt around your hand first.
Then it should not be too bad, I would not recomend doing it unless you really need to.
Don't be stupid about it, watch where the glass is, you can get a deep cut if you are reaching though and let your arm drop a bit.

I had 32 stitches on my forearm trying that stunt as a teenager. The scar is there, and almost lost my hand due to the type of cut.
Not recommended.

You'd probably need a lot of stitches and you'd probably also need surgery if you managed to damage any ligaments or tendons.

What hurts you is pulling your hand back thru the window after you punch it,,but dont do that,,thats stupid.

You would get cut, your luck depends on how bad.
