Ortho-tricyclin low is pretty good, but it makes you moody. Try Yasmin, i haven't been on it long, but i like it so far

The best is a tri-phasic regimen because it better mimics a woman's body chemistry. The doctor will work with her on it but it's best she try different kinds and keep in touch with health care professionals. Make sure you double up, because the pill is not 100% effective. Like, use the pill and a condom, or the pill and spermicide, or the pill and a diaphragm. If no pill, use two of the above. Best to you both.

Your girlfriend needs to go back to HER physician and seek out other options that will work for HER. Every womans body is different and responds differently to BC pills.

There are a lot of alternative BC options.

If you don't want to get her pregnant, than refrain from having sex. Keep in mind, if you have unprotected sex, just ONCE, she can still can pregnant....if the physiological timing is right

It depends on the person. I switched from the Ortho-Evra Patch (that I loved, but it would sometimes come off), to Loestrin 24 (those were the worst...it made me sick to my stomach) and what do you know...it didn't work anyway cuz I'm 12 weeks pregnant now. My vote is for the Ortho Evra Patch...its simple and easy, and very difficult to screw up.

I take Yasmin, I think it's the best it hasn't put any weight on me. It's one of the only ones not likely to cause weight gain. So you should try Yasmin.
