I need statistics here. Is it like 1 in 100 twin births or what? And how are boy-girl twins formed? Any personal stories relating to boy-girl twins?

boy-girl twins are called: Fraternal twins! When two eggs are independently fertilized by two sperm cells, fraternal or dizygous twins result. Fraternal twins do not have identical DNA but will have half of their DNA in common, just like siblings of the same parents that are born at different times. Fraternal twins can either be of the same sex or different sex.

My aunt has twins but they ain't the same gender and they don't look alike at all. Twins runs in my family lol....

well not sure but its more likely then having identical twins. To have boy girl twins the wmen needs 2 eggs and the sperm that enters 1 egg must be Y (for the boy) and in the other it must be X(for the girl)

for idential twins there is only 1 egg and 1 sperm. when the fertilized egg begins to multiply there is a spontanious mutation that results in two seperate babies born. So its immpossibel to have identical boy girl twins because the babies from the 1 egg have the same exact DNA

I have boy/girl twins....they ran in my ex-wifes side of the family. They say the odds of having twins are 1 in 92, so I would think boy/girl twins would be a little higher odds wise!

I have younger twin sisters. My grandpa's siblings were twins but they were miscarriages. My spouse's cousin's daughters (did you get that) are twins.
