Where are the best sales?

I need to get a new vaccuum and I'm wondering where to get the best one for a good price! I was thinking about Kohls....

Always buy from a store that has a good return policy. First research the item (Vacuum Cleaner) through"consumer reports". It is important to note that we know names of items, that we have always heard about and we assume they are probably still the best. Hoover vacuum, for instance..
Well Hoover used to be good, but several years ago, they were bought out and they are not what they used to be. If you do a lot of vacuuming, and want a good machine, look for a Vacuum that has Real metal parts, as many of them are now made with plastic parts, which does not hold up at all. Repairs can be very costly, so get a good machine, that you research, and expect to pay a bit more, for a better product. In addition, on line, some stores have customer reviews, (Target has these reviews on some items). Although with a vacuum cleaner, a person doesn't know how good it's going to be just by opening the box, it could take awhile to know if it's good, and so there might not be reliable reviews with this type of product. I would also look for sales. Unless you need it ASAP, and can't wait. I generally would go to a Sears or Macy's which are both very service and customer oriented. Both of these stores have sales all the time. They also often have coupons in the Sunday Paper. Again though, you will usually get what you pay for with a vacuum cleaner, so try to buy a very good one (made with metal parts inside), on sale, at a store that you trust will back up the product.
