visit the nearest smallscale industries office in the city, they have books on different subjects ,take one which suits to the climatic conditions and the tradtions of your village, thw place of raw materisl, machines are mentioned in the book.check up your investments my advise is to go in for traditional cottage industries, your village folk will readly do to make some traditional items some sofisticated ones, maintain you quality, see the options of exporting you cottage industries items, the may be one or more,it will take time, also visit the nearby cities survey the markets find out what the tourist and the local like alike etc,you are an educated one so nothing to explain you more a hint is enough just like one single match stick can do wonders.it is also possible for the cottage industry items i.e the raw material may be it is just around you the village eleders will guide guide you thus cost production will go down.

Try going to another big city and gathering a party. Earn lot's of money and then use it to Develope your home town. Of course, you need to split the money with your party, so try and negotiate a good deal with high percentages for yourself. You will then return home and build roads. When you have roads people will come. when people come, so do teachers so you can educate your people before you know it, you will be a multimillionare!
