It's probably because he discusses things that he knows about, gets picked as best answer often, doesn't ask many questions, and has lots of free time to spend on Y!A - it doesn't take a genius to rack up a lot of points here, anybody can do it, as long as they are determined to do it in the first place. Look at how fast Fireater is trying to get to level 7, although I do admit that he isn't exactly the brightest lightbulb I've seen, but he does have spirit.

Yes he does sleep.Richard's fan club gave him over 80,000 thumbs up on his best answers in a week.That is how he has got so many points.Possibly some hacker,because apparently the points went up high speed.He deserves to be up there,he is intelligent and gives informative answers.He is well liked and respected.
