If you really like the car and you can afford it, then you should get it. They are good trucks. If you want to stand out, get a color besides silver, black, white or gold.

It is a sporty SUV and anyone who can afford one can have it. Don't worry if your "type of people" don't drive it. It drives like a sports sedan, yet it has all the qualities of an SUV. But I would wait until the expected diesel version comes out. It would give you more options and the fuel economy is twice as good. But don't go by what others think the car is for. and you'll be thankful that you got one because their service is great. Ray-Catena Mercedes benz sends flowers to your house about a week or 2 from the time you purchased your car from them. I know this because I own a 2004 Mercedes Benz E500 4matic. Plus, the features that other cars boast about are just "the usual"for these cars. EG: This hyundai has power windows and auto matic transmission! This is just like saying "I have a nose!" when compared to Mercedes benzes. They are in a class of their own.

Well i have not heard much quality issues on the new style (W164) put they havent really been out long enough. But DO NOT get the older style (W163) they are nothing but a headache. As far as "How does a 24 yo look" well my friends gf was 18 when she got her 2002 ML320 so its really what u like. As a guy i can tell u that a single girl in a nice car is nothing bad at all.
I have been driving Mercedes-benz since i was 16 and i am 21 know and have also had other makes including Audi but nothing has been as overall fun to drive, quality and gets looks quite like an MB.
If you like it can afford it and enjoy it then buy it. But i also recomend test driving a BMW X5 and a X3 and a Lexus RX330 first you may like one of them better.

Here's another opinion, subjective as it is. Using your words above, you say they "r cool", but question whether they look nice on "single girls" who might be 24 years old. That contradiction would make one sense that you are really not ready to step into one if there is too much opinion that they fit people with families (you say that's not happening) and into carrying big stuff. I would say you have already expressed enough doubt to put this on the back burner as a number 1 choice and study the field of cars and SUVs more completely. If it still looks good in a set amount of time and you have overcome your own doubts, go for it! Good luck!

i have 2 benz's . I say get the m class. But save some money and get a 2007 pre owned car with a few miles on it. Unless u absolutely have to have new. I make good money and have never bought a new car. if u plan on having it 4 yrs or more , buy it. If 3 yrs or less lease it , but watch the mileage. The warranty is awesome and benz service is top notch. have fun !!

Definitely, buying slightly used is the way to go. It's also important to note that starting with the 2005 model year, MB stopped offering their signature Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Commitment program in the USA, which used to offer routine services and maintenance free of charge. This includes oil changes, checking the oil, coolant, windshield washer solvent/concentrate and brake system fluid levels, fluids top-off, tire rotation and balancing, etc.
You can still take advantage of this, by looking into buying a 2003 or 2004 year model, under 50K miles, which will still have it's original bumper-to-bumper factory warranty.

Sounds like you have great taste, can afford what your tastes desire and want what you want.
What are you waiting for? Go get what you want.
Besides, how bad could a purchase of a Mercedes M-Class be? Mercedes is one of the few production car manufacturers that is still considered an investment. So, invest and be happy.

The 2007 C-classification is quickly and sturdy. the element to think of roughly is that maximum of them are "game" fashions with large brakes and tires, so your upkeep expenses would be slightly severe, however the acceleration and braking will knock your socks off!

I don't mind your preference BUT a word of CAUTION. Since you say you can afford it, how MUCH money do you have? If you spend it on that, how much money will you have LEFT for whatever FUTURE, FUTURE plan? I don't want to dictate how you will conduct your future. However, be very wary.
