Notre Dame
It's all in the mind of the USC Trojans this weekend. If they prove UCLA fans have nicknamed them the "University of Spoiled Children." If they play that way they will lose. All Notre Dame has to do is play blue-collar football and watch for the arrogance that some of the USC players have for regular poor man's football.
USC's team is young, while Notre Dame is a little more polished...

USC. USC is playing great and John David Booty is underrated totally. I have seen all his games and think he is a great Quarterback. Also, their defense is playing great too. Notre Dame might have the best QB but their defense is not that good compared to USC.

I expect that Notre Dame will win in a close contest. The measurables favor USC but I expect that Notre Dame will capitalize on its greater experience to make one less mistake than USC.

okay...first of all...stacey...about your comment...i'm not a big usc fan...but usc is not cocky. they just play with a lot of confidence. pete carroll does a great job in keeping his team away from distractions and gets them playing with the right attitude. his philosophy at usc is admirable and it reflects onto his players.
and about that title game last year vs. texas...don't know if you know this...but that wasn't a bad a loss as you think. each team up 550+ yards on each other's defenses. and usc is back in the talk of national title. so they are truly doing a great job and all the credit goes to pete carroll and his staff.
with that said, i don't think usc will win out this year, let alone beat notre dame. notre dame is going to be the most explosive offense usc faces, even more than cal's. charlie weis started working on the gameplan very early in the season. he's watched every play that usc has run on film. brady quinn is motivated to beat them and studied film of them. notre dame's defensive line has been playing more consistent than the trojans. the secondary of notre dame has talent and special teams is way better. usc's defense won't be able to keep up. and they can't cover the notre dame receivers.
notre dame will win and dash usc's title hopes away. might as well...because if they win out...they'll be embarrassed by ohio state anyway.

USC, hands down. I will be at that game, cheering the Mighty Trojans on to victory.
Notre Dame's defense is just horrid, but Brady Quinn is pretty clutch.

Quinn has not shown that he can win a 'big game' and folds under pressure. ND's defense is the worst of any of the top-ranked teams, which of them would allow Navy, NC, or Army score a point? So if Quinn is neutralized what chance do they have? It would take a different ND team than what I have seen so far, but who would have thought Georgia would blow-out Auburn after being beaten by KY? So it's possible, but highly unlikely.

I choose the fighting Irish. I dont like USC for personal reasons. And I think they are just so cocky. Thats why last year I was SOOOOOOOOOOO happy when they lost the rose bowl. shoved that ********* right up their.... haha well theres my opinion.. GO Notre Dame

USC will be the winners of this match. They're a better team, and ND has a very slim chance of going anywhere anyway.
