I kissed my friend goodbye on the lips, without thinking. It was just a mindless reaction. She's strait, I'm not. I feel weird cuz of it now. Nothing else was said and I don't know how to feel. Has this ever happened to anyone else before?

where I come from women kiss each other goodbye on the lips all the time. But if two men kissed each other on the lips that is another story all together.

Hasn't happened to me before but I don't think it was that appropriate. Maybe on the cheek like the french do, I've done that before. If you feel awkward about it, just tell her, sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable last time we said goodbye, I really didn't mean anything by it.

I keep kissing in the lips as something too personal to be used as "saying goodbye". I give the peck in the cheek.

my friend did once kiss me on the lips, and while it was a bit strange at first, now i just don't care. Just act like nothing happened and pretend that you meant to do it. Hope this helps!!

It depends on the person I used to think it was strange although I had a Dutch friend who told me they did it all the time, and looking back I remember my parents had Dutch friends who did too. Now nothing fases me; I think I'm getting old, hahaha.

incorrect possibly in our/ your way of existence. In Europe adult men oftentimes kiss on the two sides of the cheek greeting and asserting see you later. are you able to think of that throughout the time of the U.S.? it would be taken as "gay" in the present day.

If it was a brief peck on the lips (or cheek) then think nothing of it. Chances are, she's not.
