I have a 02 monte carl. When I put it in reverse the reverse lights will flash and I hear a clicking sound. That is the only time. That and when I hit the alarm and the lights come on I can hear it with the car off? Can someone help me?

what alarm do you have in the Monte Carl --factory or is it from the local stereo dude--------if it is the "dude" alarm then take your car back to the nice people and pleasantly request that they fix your car as it has been wired WRONG----if it is factory then you should take the car to the dealer and get it fixed right ..... you have a real short in the wires that will only become a bigger problem.... The dealer may be a little expensive but a new wiring harness for the car will cost more than you can ever imagine

Something is wired wrong or there is a short.
