I am really sorry to hear that. I also have had a miscarriage in the past, and I think your cramps are a sign saying you are starting intercourse a little too soon afterward. Your cervix takes some time to close back up. Maybe wait another week or so, and try again. I'm not sure how far along you were, but that would also be a deciding factor in how long you should wait before engaging again. Hope this helps.

yes you can still get pregnant right after a miscarriage, but if it's too soon, you may increase your chance of another one so I still say wait a little longer and give your body some time to heal thus giving a new fetus the best possible chance of survival.

I'm sure this is not the problem but I feel I should say it anyway. when I had my misscarriage I did an ultrasound the next day and they said it looked clear and everything was fine. WRONGE.... a month later about the time I was due for my next period I started cramping alot and had another misscarriage only here's the thing, I never actually got pregnant again. as it turns out, I was carrying a dead fetus for a month and my body finally finished expelling it. got lucky...could have givin me a horrible infection but it never. a month after that I was pregnant again and I now have a very busy 3 yr old boy.

I cramped for about 3 days before the "second" phase of misscariage. If your cramping gets worse with heavy bleeding it may be the same thing I went through..should see the doctor.

After my first miscarriage (9 weeks), the doctor said to go though a complete cycle before trying to get pregnant again. I did, and got pregnant again right away, but I lost that one at 7 weeks. That was a long time ago, but it still hurts to think about it! The good news is that about six months later I got pregnant a third time and had a perfect little girl, who is now a perfect adult daughter!

So don't rush into trying to get pregnant immediately. Yes, you could be ovulating already, but it is NOT a good idea to start another baby yet. You want everything to be optimal to carry the next pregnancy to term.

While you're waiting...why not get married and give your future child a real family?

I had 2 miscarriages, the first one was just one of those horrible things that happened, before I got my next period I became pregnant again.
After speaking with my Doc he said the body knows when its ready to get pregnant again, and there was no danger in falling pregnant right away after the first miscarriage. Unfortunately because of a car accident I lost that baby as well. After that I went for a full check up, pap smear and the rest, and the following month I was pregnant again, I had a very healthy baby girl.

Hope this reassures you a little
