Am I still considered a dependent? What is the maximum amount of money I can earn that will make me not a dependent and my father will not be able to support me?

You are a dependent as long as you are a full-time student under the age of 25- after that you are on your own or if you drop out of school.
you can still fill your own taxes - you just can not claim yourself -which means that you may have to pay taxes on money you earn if you get a check and they have your social security number- You must file a tax return - The IRS will know-
