Vaseline is the best product on the market for lip care!
It's been on the market for a very long time and has stayed the course regardless of all the other "new and improved" lip care products that have come on the market.
White Petroleum Jelly is the only ingredient.
Sooths or prevents the following:
* minor burns
* lip chapping
* diaper rash wind burn or prevents wind burn
* dry skin when used regulary
and it even removes eye make-up and keeps heels and toes skin from building up.
Thanks for asking this question. I've used Vaseline for years and I'm glad to endorse and promote it.
Cheers!

Yes. Lip balms might help in the short term, but long-term they do more harm than good. Reason: 95% of lip balm contain some form of alcohol, which will dry your lips even more and make them become dependent on "lip balm". Same goes for hand creams and body lotions. 90% of products out there contain some form of alcohol to make them fast absorbing. While they may make your skin moisturized, soft and smooth initially - it drys out your skin in the long run and your skin becomes dependent on creams and lotions. Read the ingredients before you use anything.

Always lip balm. Vaseline is not a conditioner as much as it is a coating. The best thing is to make sure you are drinking plenty of water because dry lips are an indicator that you are becoming dehydrated.

It's always a good idea to brush your lips with your tootbrush (after brushing your teeth) and apply a thin layer of Vaseline petroleum jelly before going to bed. Doesn't matter what the season is!

Yes it is good for you. In fact, I don't know if they still sell this, but I used to have a vaseline gloss, like a chapstick, and it really helped treat my chapped lips.

vaseline is best to use before going to bed because you wake up with soft lips and then throughout the day you can use any chapstick or lipgloss

Vaseline is good for almost everything. put a light layer on your lips for a glossy affect, then put a thin, thin layer on your face, just so it gives you that hollywood glow. its great. try it.
