I would paint it a very very light beige and accessories with brighter color with brown, gray or brown in it. Beige is a very soothing color and goes with almost anything.

I would go with an earthy tone. A sand colour would be good.. Bring the samples home that you get from a paint store and hold them next to the carpet, sofa and drapes..Do Not go with anything dark . Grey and dark brown, may look nice with maroon, or whatever the other opinion was, yes, that might look ok if you're wearing an outfit.. but not in a room. You want people to feel comfortable .. Most of all, you want to be comfortable.. earth tones are very comforting. In painting in general, it is best to go on the wild side, in a room that you don't spend a lot of time in.. You can do a really funky bathroom, go crazy there (with colour).. not in a living room, or bedroom...get in touch with colours that make you feel good, peaceful, especially when your enveloped in them.

Ivory, Cream, Off White, or Light Stone
Remember to stick with light colours as your furniture and blinds are dark and will make your room appear tiny. If you must have a dark colour try a feature wall, one wall in the room in a dark and bright colour (eg: red) as a feature, normally applied on a wall capturing light from windows.
Hope this is helpful.

We in basic terms painted our super partitions chocolate brown, and with our brown settee there is not any colour, so I honestly does not bypass with a brown. whether, we've become a sage eco-friendly settee set and we knew this so as consequently we went with the brown. i could bypass with the two a eco-friendly (like sage) or a purple, after which you're able to do particularly some the different partitions a lighter brown. in case you do finally end up going all brown nonetheless, you may get throw pillows, artwork artwork, vegetation, candles, etc. to characteristic colour too.

Maroon would accent both the grey and the dark brown.
