What you need to do is take a brown paper bag, like from a grocery store, and an iron. Place the paper bag over the wax. Put the setting on the iron high enough that it will melt the wax. Run the iron over the paper bag. When the wax melts, the paper will absorb the wax. Repeat the process until you can get as much wax out as possible. Once you can remove anymore wax, try a solvent cleaner, 'Energene' or similar. Then wash normally.

Take a cold pack and freeze it, and remove the wax with your fingernail or a butter knife. Then take it to your ironing board, put blank newspaper or a brown paper bag (no print) on both sides and press it with your iron on the setting for the fabric of the tablecloth. You'll have to keep moving to clean paper and pressing repeatedly, but this should (eventually, it takes repeated tries) get it all out. DONT leave the iron there long enough to burn the paper or fabric, just long enough for the wax to absorb into the paper. And cut the paper to fit so you don't put it over a spot you've just done and get more wax on the cloth. Works for carpet too.

OK I have done this: Boil some water in a saucepan. Place paper, I used newspaper but paper towels may even be better. Place paper over wax on carpet, than sit the saucepan on top of that. The wax should melt & capilary action draws it up into the paper. Hey yeah! an iron, I have an iron defitiancy. All the best.

Cool the wax and remove as much as you can with a spoon or dull knife. Then, iron the area by placing a paper towel over the wax and iron over the paper towel. The wax will melt from the heat of the iron and the paper towel will remove it. Launder or have cleaned as usual afterwards.

Funny you asked because my sister just was talking about that tonight. She said to take a paper towel and put over the wax and than iron the paper towel. The wax should melt onto the paper towel.

get a paper lunch bag and heat your iron just hot enough to melt the wax. place paper bag over the wax. iron the bag until the wax melts and seeps through the paper bag. unless it's red wax, this should remove the stain. keep ironing till all the wax is soaked up onto the paper.

It works with candlewax, I don't know about hair removal wax. Put a paper bag over the spill, and iron it. With candlewax it works like magic! I don't know about your problem, t hough.

Once it has hardend use an iron and a towel. Put the towel on top and use the iron to make the wax soft (not melty) to transfer. Works on carpet too!

Uh-ho, You may need to use a solvent to conquer this job, But be ware that this could damage the table cloth. You may try to pick the bulk off then get it warm and use a paraffin oil or mineral spirits (paint thinner) to remove the wax. Then Dawn liquid dish detergent to remove the solvent.

Good Luck
