all the gay guys that i know (never dated them) are just obnoxious, wild and crazy boys that like to party all the time
I accidentlly got a crush on a straight guy becasue he is the type of smart guy that is very imformative, and everytime im around him, i learn something new.did i mention that he is hot? but its really his smarts that got me to notice him.

I, for one, find intelligence basically *the* hottest aspect to person. People who are knowledgable, open-minded, know how to effectively communicate their ideas, can actually spell and write correctly, who read and like to discuss topics and debate- they call to me.
I actually found out that there's a term for it- sapiosexual, I think. Interesting, huh?

Never dated an obnoxious, crazy boy that was wild and liked to party all the time. Always dated guys that were smart, or else had some talent that I admired - dated a dancer, and also a musician.
By the way, you mention that he's hot physically, so to me that indicates that you really are putting an emphasis on physical attributes. So maybe smart is just a bonus, and not the primary reason you're attracted to him.
Maybe you're looking in the wrong places if you find only shallow, obnoxious gay men. Or possibly rationalizing why you have a crush on a heterosexual man. I sometimes hear heterosexual women who complain about how all hetero men are jerks and there are no decent guys. But that's not true, of course. The fact is that they're simply choosing and attracting the guys who are jerks.

An intelligent guy is just more fun. Having sex with a guy as bright as a rutabaga diminishes the fun, because what kind of conversation can you have with someone who thinks asphalt is a problem with a person's rectum? An occasional fling with an amazingly beautiful dope is not out of the question, but before and after the sex, it is nice to chat about something deeper than Sponge Bob Square Pants.

yes i do find intelligence attractive. but i also find humor attractive. so i have a quandary. im a successfull person who has to be serious in my line of work. so im surrounded by (what i would call) boring people of no flavor. so i come on here and release myself by having a few laughs. i find that intelligent people also can be a bit uptight. but i also want to be able to have an intelligent conversation with someone.im going to find someone with these qualities i quest for. i just want it now. best of luck to you.

I LOVE those cute and hot boys, BUT find nothing more attractive than a good mind placed in a kind soul.
(Nothing worse than these bitchy gay queens who use their purported intelligence to make derogatory remarks about everything and everyone).

Intelligence is certainly attractive, particularly if packaged in mini skirt and heels. A great tan line also helps bring out intellect.

I do. I couldn't imagine dating or being in a relationship with someone who wasn't intelligent. It's not like I want to talk about quantum physics with them, but I couldn't stand being with someone who didn't have a basic understanding of certain things that apply to daily life.

It has been my experience that the quality of my relationships has been 100% correlated with the other's intelligence, so the last time I went looking I started with Mensa. Score!

intelligence= power
power = HOT
i love it that they can help you with something,that they are really good at something, and that they did not throw away their education just because they wanted to be "cool".
i love it that they are aiming for something and the realization that not all people have to be wild to be hot.
in a nutshell, i love it when a guy has something he is really good at, such as playing the guitar, drawing, w/e, but it just gives him an air of mystery, which i love.
