Who was the first female Governor of Texas?

The first female governor of Texas was, Ferguson, Miriam Amanda Wallace (1875-1961). She was devoted to her husband and daughters, this fact and also her fist to initials gave her the name “Ma Ferguson”. In November of 1924 she became the second women governor in the United States history.
