Yes
if a gasket or seal is wearing then this leak could get worse with time and further deteriation. try a product called Stops Leaks, add it to your oil and monitor over a week. If you still have a leak under running condition it is caused by rise in oil pressure and deteriating seals you're going to have to have a shop find the leak source

Probably a gasket somewhere! When the engine is running the oil is being pushed around the engine under pressure so it may be somewhere higher up on the block, maybe even an oil temp sensor, something like that. Oil leaks aren't always a problem, but they can get worse over time, best to get it checked out or see if a friend can locate the source for you.

Any leak is a matter of concern. From the sound of it, it sounds like a main seal. That could blow out almost any time. It would only get more expensive if you ran low on oil and blew the engine. The part itself is only a couple of bucks, but the labor is going to get you.

thats no longer something to be stressful approximately. all bugs leak. there are some using around available on an popular basis that are leaking a approaches worse than yours, believe me, ive considered them in guy or woman. purely have one extra 2 quarts in the trunk with you and verify it on an popular basis, correct off as mandatory. except you come across you're including purely approximately a quart a week or interior 500 miles then i might look on the rear significant seal or crankshaft slinger. verify to make particular the hose going from the oil filler neck to the air purifier isn't clogged or bent at a pointy attitude than air isn't getting nonetheless. its the breather for crankcase tension and if its clogged you have oil shooting from the crankshaft pulley and coating the completed engine bay, its occurred to me till now. additionally verify the torque specifications of the bolts on the backside of the motor. additionally verify the oil drain plate is on securely and the two paper gaskets are in place.
